Heli-ski/boarding
The ultimate adventure in off-piste skiing! We offer a choice of either a day trip or overnight stay to Valgrisenche, located in the Italian Alps, just two hours from Morzine. Valgrisenche, likened to a miniature Canada in the Alps, is a beautiful high mountain wilderness with 20 heli drop-off points between 3200 - 3500 metres, giving you a choice of over 100 different descents with a vertical drop of between 1500 - 2100 metres. Excellent snow conditions, and huge, wide open spaces create a paradise for off-piste skiers and snowboarders. This is an expensive excursion, but for a once in a lifetime adventure, it's priceless!
We employ an excellent guide company local to the area, who work on a ratio of 1 mountain guide to 4 clients.
Minimum requirements: more important than sheer technique, is general overall physical fitness and the ability to ski in all snow conditions. For cost effectiveness, the ideal group size is four, or multiples of the same, preferably of a similar standard.
Costings: Half-board overnight stay, Heliski with 3 drops and transport to/from Italy, approx €530 per person.

The Vallee Blanche
One of our more popular excursions we offer is a day trip to Chamonix to ski the fabulous "Vallee Blanche". A magical off-piste wonderland of towering rock spires, crevasses and ice seracs. Starting from an altitude of just under 4000 metres, you will ski 22km off-piste, finishing on the "Mer de Glace" (Sea of Ice) glacier. An experience not be missed!
We employ a Chamonix mountain guide for the day who will provide all the relevant safety equipment, avalanche transceivers, climbing harnesses, etc.
Minimum requirements: Competent on red runs, an understanding of off-piste skiing with a little experience, (we can help you on your way!) and a sense of adventure!
