Well the snow forecast for Morzine was right…very very cold and lots and lots of snow. We could not ask for a better start to the winter season in Morzine Avoriaz.

For some people this early snow came as a bit of a shock but with our trusty long wheel base Landrover we glided through the snow drifts to our chalets in Morzine. Such amazing conditions and so low down boads well for a fantastic season. Why not take advantage of our pre-Xmas special ski deals or book the last two rooms that we have available for Christmas in the Desmeuniere? It would be a shame not to make the most of this early season snow and enjoy the ski resort at its most quiet time…

New for 2011 season, The Great Escape are running a series of weeklong Back-country wilderness ski-camps. In association with the Avoriaz Alpine Ski School, & limited to a maximum of 8 persons, our ski-camps are aimed at skiers who want to break away from the shackles of on-piste skiing and are now looking to progress into the adventurous world of back-country wilderness powder skiing & all that its environment entails.
